Ludewig and colleagues use a real-time CXCL13 reporter to resolve the molecular identity of the B cell-interacting reticular cell (BRC) landscape. Poised, BRC-defined microenvironments establish a feed-forward system that support the dynamic movement of B cells to engage antigen and helper T cells, securing efficient germinal center responses.
